Day
01 : Arrive Kathmandu
On
arrival meet and assist at the airport and transfer
to prebooked hotel. Rest of the day free. Overnight
at the hotel.
Day 02 : Kathmandu
Morning, city tour of Kathmandu and Swayambhunath. Afternoon,
excursion to Patan. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 03 : Kathmandu
Morning visit Pashupatinath and Boudhnath stupa and
Bhaktapur city. Rest of the day free for individual
activities. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 04 : Kathmandu-Pokhara
Morning, drive to Pokhara "The Valley of Lakes" stopping
enroute for river rafting (optional). Pokhara valley
is a scenic and exciting and is covered by gree hills,
lakes, forests, rivers, water falls and terraced gardens.
Arrive Pokhara and check in at prebooked hotel. Overnight
at the hotel.
Day 05 : Pokhara-Chitwan
In the morning, an hours boat ride on Lake Phewa. Afternoon,
leave for Chitwan National Park. Arrive Chitwan and
check in at prebooked hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 06 : Chitwan National Park
Early morning, visit the park on an elephant/jeep. In
the afternoon, set out for bird watching in the canoes.
In the evening, a stick dance of the local people (optional).
Overnight at the hotel.
Day 07 : Chitwan-Kathmandu
Morning, visit the park. Afternoon, leave for Kathmandu.
Arrive Kathmandu and check in at prebooked hotel. Overnight
at the hotel.
Day 08 : Kathmandu-Paro
Morning, transfer to the airport to board flight for
Paro. Arrive Paro and transfer to prebooked hotel. Overnight
at the hotel.
Day 09 : Paro-Thimpu
Morning, visit Drukgyel Dzong ruins (monastery fortress);
the natural history Museum at Ta Dzong; the Taktsang
Retreat (the Tiger's nest) and the 7th century Kyichu
Temple. Afternoon, drive to the capital city of Thimpu.
Arrive Thimpu and check in at prebooked hotel. Overnight
at the hotel.
Day 10 : Thimpu-Phobjhika
Morning, leave for Phobjhika, stopping enroute for an
hour at Dochula for birdwatching. After lunch, visit
the Gangtey Gompa (the monastery). Arrive Phobjhika
and check at guest house. In the evening, bird watching
at Phobjhika valley. Overnight at the guest house.
Day 11 : Phobjhika-Punakha
Morning, walk to the bogs to see the black necked cranes.
Return to the guest house for breakfast and later drive
to Punakha. Arrive Punakha and check in at prebooked
hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 12 : Punakha
Guided tour of Punakha. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 13 : Punakha-Thimpu
Early morning, bird watching at Punakha and a short
walk along the River Mo Chu. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 14 : Thimpu-Paro
Early morning, visit the zoo to the Takin and for bird
watching. Drive to Paro. On arrival check in at prebooked
hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 15 : Paro-Delhi/Calcutta
Transfer to the Paro airport to board flight for Delhi/Calcutta.
On arrival transfer to the prebooked hotel. In the afternoon,
half day city tour of Delhi/Calcutta.
Day 16 : Transfer to the international
airport to board flight back home.
