- Laxmi Niwas
Palace is the main building of the famous Lal Garh Palace Complex.
This royal apartment was the personal residence of late Maharaja
Ganga Singh. A magnificient red sandstone edifice designed
by Sir Swinton Jacob in the Anglo-Scenic style. This stately building,
great & grand, is built around a central courtyardand is intricately
carved from the skiting up to the highest dome.

Situated
within the picturesque walled city of Bikaner, is Bhanwar Niwas,
the grandest and most magnificient of the famed havelis (mansions)
belonging to a distinguished family of Bikaner. Completed
in 1927, it reflects the fashionable tastes of the 20's, a taste
for formal and well ordered luxury with modern conveniences of the
time. The architechture of the Haveli is a fascinating blend of
Indian & European styles.

Built in the year
1902 by one of the most outstanding Personalities of Princely India,
Maharaja Ganga Singh, this Palace is sheer poetry in Sandstone.
Constructed during the last half of nineteenth century, this palace
is the most completely integrated example of Indo-saracenic architechture.
The Palace has played host to a number of Dignitaries from all over
the world. A beautiful Museam, depicting the lives and the
times of Maharajas of Bikaner State situates on the first floor
of the Palace building.
