Manali

Manali
is situated on the River Beas, at an altitude of 2,200
metres. Manali is a picturesque little town ideal place
to relax in full view of snow-clad mountains. It is
also known as the 'Queen of Hill Station'. Manali is
a lovely and very popular holiday destination, it is
a ideal spot for picnics punctuated with sun-bathing,
fishing. The main attractions of Manali
are Tibetan Monastery, Hadimba, Devi Temple.
Shimla : The state
capital Shimla,
provides a cool relief to those who come here during
the summer months. Jakhu Temple, Himachal State Museum,Tara
Devi, Sankatmochan, Roman Catholic Cathedral, Lakkar
(wood) Bazaar are some worth visiting places.
Dalhousie : Dalhousie
is a typical hill resort with its fin-roofed, half timbered
houses spread over 13 aq. km of well forested hills
at heights between 1525 & 2378 metres.
Kullu : Kullu
is a picturesque valley. The unique event in Kullu is
celebration of Dusserha.
Lahaul Spiti : The
lahaul plateau nourished by the Chandra & Bhaga
rivers and the Spiti valley linked to it by a high pass
the Kunzam-la, are together a district in Himachal Pradesh.
It is one of the best trekking areas in the world.
