Goa
Goa is famous for its lovely beaches which offered opputunities for relaxing in the Sun, as well as more thrilling activities like parasailing, speed-boating, water-skiing, wind-surfing and deep-sea diving.
ACCESS: Air links to Bangalore, Mumbai, Delhi, Cochin, Thiruvananthapuram. The nearest railhead is Vasco da Gama, 35 km from Panaji.

Kovalam
Kovalam is a beach resort for those who ask for nothing more than beautiful sights, serenity and a relaxing vacation. It offers sheltered coves, white sands, palm-fringed bays and coconut groves.
ACCESS: Road links to Thiruvananthapuram, Ernakulam and Kanyakumari. Nearest railhead and airport is at Thiruvananthapuram (16 km).

Mamallapuram
Mamallapuram combines the beauty of Indian architecture with the beauty of the Indian shoreline.It is a beach resort with ancient temples and caves cut in the rock. Particularly famous is the shore temple built in the eighth century AD.
ACCESS: Nearest airport, Chennai (49 km). Rail links to Chennai, Kanchipuram and Arkonam.

Gopalpur-On-Sea
This is a quiet beach on the eastern coast in Orissa. It is ideal for relaxing and also for boating and yatching. The hot springs of Taptapani are nearby.
